IBC Solar has expanded its international presence with new subsidiaries in France and Austria, along with a majority stake in Solarworld Africa. The company is already active across Europe, with operations in Poland, the Netherlands, Spain, Italy and Switzerland.
In response to the growing importance of the French solar market, IBC Solar is setting up a new subsidiary, IBC Solar France, based in Lyon. Until now, the market was served from the company’s German headquarters. The new local presence will enable faster and more tailored customer service. Operations in France are set to begin in July 2025, with solutions designed specifically for local distribution.

The focus is on efficiency in winter, good electricity yields and low-maintenance operation.”
