The camera features a brighter display and integrated viewfinder. This allows the location of defective components under all lighting conditions. The T840 offers a resolution of 464 x 348 pixels and is equipped with the image processing technology Flir Advanced Vision Processing, the patented MSX image optimisation, Ultramax and the adaptive filter algorithms developed by Flir. This allows customers to benefit from greater measurement accuracy and image definition as well as a 50 per cent reduction in image noise compared to previous models.
In addition, the camera is equipped with advanced integrated measuring instruments that are only available on the newer T Series models. These include 1-touch level/span to increase contrast between the target and the background at the touch of a finger as well as a precise, laser-assisted autofocus. This allows users to quickly detect problems and easily make critical decisions. (mfo)
