More flexibility for homes
SMA's new home storage system features a modular battery and the Sunny Boy Smart Energy hybrid inverter, optimising self-consumption for private households. The Sunny Home Manager 2.0 handles energy management, dynamically adjusting to load profiles.
Thanks to the modular design, the storage capacity can be flexibly adjusted from 3.2 to 16.4 kWh, depending on requirements. A new backup function enables single-phase or three-phase backup power.
SMA shows a new high-performance battery inverter
With the updated SMA 360 degree app, installation is even more straightforward, providing support to specialist partners with commissioning and maintenance. SMA also offers the dynamic electricity tariff Strom Wallet Dynamic Pro together with Lichtblick.

Reduce costs in C&I
The experts from SMA in Munich are presenting the new functions of the energy management SMA Data Manager M and the Sunny Portal for businesses and industry, which help avoid expensive load peaks and reduce operating costs.
New is the ability to charge and discharge battery systems according to fixed schedules. This solution brings economic benefits for the manufacturing industry, the logistics industry, office buildings or supermarkets.

New Sunny Tripower X60
Another highlight this year is the new Sunny Tripower X60 string inverter, which was designed specifically for commercial systems, incorporates a system manager and integrates directly into the SMA monitoring portal. With up to 60 kilowatts of power and five MPP trackers, it increases energy yield as it can optimise numerous module strings independently, for example on complex roofs or when using bifacial modules.
New inverters for large power plants
For operators of large systems, SMA presents Sunny Highpower Storage, a powerful battery inverter with maximum system availability. It works without loss of performance even at ambient temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius and is freely scalable from one to five megawatts (five to more than 40 megawatt hours). By connecting up to 14 inverters in parallel, the capacity can be expanded depending on project requirements.
SMA: Gigawatt milestone achieved in hydrogen applications
The new Sunny Central Storage UP-S battery inverter uses MOSFETs made of silicon carbide, which means it achieves efficiencies of more than 99 percent. A special grid forming solution ensures the stability of supply networks that rely entirely on renewable energies.
Trade fair visitors can also experience the award-winning Sunny Central Flex platform solution as an interactive 3D model. It shows how solar parks, batteries and electrolyzers can be integrated into large-scale projects to produce green hydrogen.
