The Solbrid supports a battery charging current of up to 25 amperes, enabling compatibility with a wide range of high-voltage batteries. Operating across a broad voltage window of 85 to 700 volts, it works with most common battery storage brands. In the event of a grid failure, the system can supply backup power to all household loads via the solar system or connected battery – provided a Kontron Solar Grid Switch is installed. Retrofitting is also possible.
The hybrid inverter also offers high security against cyberattacks and can be installed outdoors. What‘s more, Kontron Solar inverters receive up to 20 percent more funding in Austria thanks to the new Made-in-Europe bonus. (nhp)
