EF Solare Italia partners with Fimer to modernise Puglia plants

EF Solare Italia has announced a new photovoltaic revamping project to upgrade seven solar plants in the province of Brindisi, Puglia, with a combined installed capacity of more than 6.4 MW. Scheduled for implementation throughout 2025, the project will replace the existing inverters with 59 Fimer PVS-100/120-TL three-phase string inverters.

All plants are equipped with single-axis trackers to maximise efficiency. A sequential regeneration process has also been applied to the oil transformers, extending their operational life and promoting the sustainable reuse of existing components. So far, four of the seven plants have already been reconnected to the grid, with full completion expected by year-end. (hcn)
