Sector coupling

Fronius takes the complete life cycle of the solar system into account

With its Digital Lifecycle Assistance, Fronius has developed a concept that accompanies the entire lifecycle of a photovoltaic system. Starting with a customer platform with access to relevant information, through the planning of a project and commissioning, to monitoring, management and troubleshooting in the event of service, it is designed to cover all eventualities.

"Digital Lifecycle Assistance helps us to coordinate Fronius tools even better. This allows us to quickly identify problems, design new solutions or expand existing solutions," says Robert Müllehner, Head of Product Marketing at Fronius International's Solar Division, outlining the idea behind it.

Sector coupling is becoming more important

Fronius will be presenting this concept at Smarter E Europe in Munich on its two stands at Intersolar and Power2Drive. However, the focus here is not only on power electronics and sector coupling.

Rather, Fronius will be showing how it manages to reconcile the development of ever new systems, sustainability of inverter production and products, value creation in Europe, digitalisation, independence, service, support for installation partners and the reparability of devices.

Cultivating and expanding partnerships

Accordingly, Fronius intends to showcase its partners in all these areas at this year's Smarter E Europe, as Martin Hackl, Marketing and Sales Manager of Fronius International's Solar Energy Business Unit, points out. "Fronius has always been very concerned about sustainability and repairability. All Fronius inverters are manufactured in the heart of Europe and their entire life cycle is based on sustainability. We also build our partnerships on a long-term and sustainable basis. What's more, 95 per cent of our contractual partners come from Europe," explains Martin Hackl. "If we have learned anything in our first 30 years as a company, it is that in addition to great employees and high innovation, it is above all our partners who contribute to our success. We maintain excellent relationships with our existing partners and are always happy to welcome new ones," Hackl emphasises. (su/mfo)
