Denmark: Luxcara signs 300 MW solar PPA with Meta

The projects will total over 300 MW of installed capacity on site and will deliver approxi-mately 210 MW of green electricity to the grid.

This is the largest solar PPA in Denmark and further enhances the ongoing strategic cooperation between the two companies, following their existing contract for the output of the Norwegian wind farms of the Bjerkreim cluster. The Agreement comprises three solar projects, two in the region of Zealand and one in Jutland. The projects will provide renewable energy solutions in support of Meta’s operations in Europe, including its data center in Odense, Denmark. As of 2020, all of Meta’s operations across the globe are supported by 100% renewable energy.
