This year's Energy Decentral will once again honour outstanding innovations in the field of decentralised energy supply for agricultural businesses. The popular Innovation Award will be presented in two editions. Exhibitors can apply for a gold medal if they have developed a product with a completely new concept in which the function has changed significantly.
Its use makes a new process possible. However, existing solutions that have been significantly improved can also be submitted. The decisive factor for the jury's selection is the practical significance.
Impact on the energy supply
If an already known product has been further developed in such a way that a significant improvement in function and process can be expected, but does not yet fully meet the gold medal criteria, the supplier can apply for a silver medal.

In this case, the economic significance for the practice is decisive for the selection. In addition, the positive impact of the solution or product on the environmental and energy situation is decisive for the jury's selection.
The prize is a comprehensive communication package
Although the application phase for the Innovation Awards does not begin until May 2024, you can already decide now to submit a product or solution for the award. All relevant documents must be submitted by 31 July 2024. The winners can look forward to a comprehensive communication package.
