Modules of variable transparency

With their Brilliant series, Wismar-based Sonnenstromfabrik offer a number of different versions of a glass-glass module. By arranging the cell matrix in an alternative way, the transparency of the modules can be increased to 53 percent.

The normal transparency of a module with 60 cells is ten percent. In the highest transparency class, only eight by four cells are used and the spacing between cells is increased so that the module allows more light to pass through. As an option, the module can be supplied as a frameless laminate, with a 35 mm frame or with a Solrif frame. The standard version is assembled with two millimetre thin float glass. Depending on static requirements, thicker glass can also be used.

Upon request, the space between the cells can also be tinted to make the glass darker. The modules contain mono and mono perc cells, optionally also mono perc bifacial cells. Their transparent nature predestines the modules for installation as part of façades, carports, conservatories or greenhouses. (mfo)
