The bifacial module with 144 monocrystalline half cells achieves an output of up to 400 watts. In awarding the prize to Jinko's Swan modules, the jury was impressed by the combination of transparent back sheet and 30-year performance warranty, which is otherwise only available for products with a back side made of glass. The plastic back sheet helps to reduce the weight of the module, while the transparency of it enables high yields from the rear side. The half-cell module weighs as little as 23.3 kilograms. For the cells used, Jinko has further switched to the Full Square cell, which thanks to the fact that its corners are not chamfered, has two millimetres more surface area. A smaller version with 120 half cells is also available. It has an output of 335 watts and comes in at 19.5 kilograms. (mfo)
