The Aster 5000 consists of twelve clusters, each with four modules using 314 ampere-hour battery cells, and has a discharge rate of 0.5C. Weighing 42.5 tonnes and rated to IP55, it operates reliably in temperatures from -40 to +50 °C. A single-door design enables back-to-back installation, increasing power density by 35 percent and reducing space requirements by 40 percent compared to the previous generation (Aster 3720).
The Aster 5000 incorporates the manufacturer’s active balancing technology, designed to extend battery life by 10 percent. It also features integrated thermal management with four intelligent operating modes: cooling, heating, circulation and automatic fluid refilling.
