Denmark based European Energy has grid-connected the Marksbury solar farm in the United Kingdom. This newly constructed solar park has a capacity of 20.89 MW and can produce 22.3 GWh of renewable electricity annually.

The Marksbury solar farm, located in Somerset near Bath, includes designated areas for tree planting to support local biodiversity and wildlife.
10-year PPA
AlphaReal, a specialist real assets investment manager, acquired the solar farm in 2024, with European Energy retained as the project’s asset manager. The solar farm is bound to deliver its electricity to brewery Asahi UK through a 10-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).
