Series production is scheduled to start in autumn 2025. Solar Fabrik also intends to implement a multi-stage plan for German production. “This will enable us to respond to market demand and adjust production volumes accordingly,” explains Laibacher. Depending on the market situation, production can be increased to one gigawatt. The manufacturer has financed the initial investment of around six million euros from its own resources – without government subsidies.

In each of the last two years, Solar Fabrik has manufactured around 750 megawatts of solar modules in Asia. This volume will continue to be produced there. ‘We are looking forward to a positive future and are planning to produce over one gigawatt by 2025,’ says the CEO of Solar Fabrik jubilantly. (nhp/hcn)
