Aiko expands global reach with n-type BC panel deals

Greek renewable energy developer Green Line Energy S.A. has signed a 340 MW agreement for Aiko’s high-efficiency Back Contact (BC) modules – the largest known utility-scale project in Europe to date using this technology. A subsidiary of Agrotech S.A., Greece’s leading agricultural machinery distributor, the company is broadening its focus to clean energy as part of a long-term decarbonisation strategy.

Aiko: Infinite modules define new standards

Aiko will also supply 225MW of Stellar series BC modules to CrossBoundary Energy for the Kamoa Project in the Democratic Republic of Congo, supporting renewable power generation for one of Africa’s largest copper operations. This solar project is providing a 30MW dispatchable renewable baseload energy supply to the mine. It is expected to offset diesel generator use and reduce carbon emissions by approximately 78,750 tonnes annually.

Contracts with Croation and Polish delevopers

At Intersolar in Munich, Croatian developer Versolvio signed a 200 MW agreement with Aiko for upcoming utility-scale projects, represented by Marko Vukobratović. Polish company Wisely Energy – part of the Develo Group – also concluded a 50 MW framework agreement for Aiko’s Back Contact modules at the trade fair. (hcn)
