Efficient and user-friendly tools are key to streamlining solar project planning. SL Rack’s new digital design app, Solar-Pro, simplifies the process of planning PV systems on pitched roofs by integrating all relevant positioning parameters. Within two minutes, the SL Planner generates a complete parts list based on static calculations and technical drawings, including details on ballasting, module count and total weight. Results can be exported as an Excel file or, in future, sent directly to wholesalers via an interface that transfers the data to the customer account.
The SL planner is free of charge and available in five languages: German, English, Italian, Spanish and French. The tool will initially focus on the planning of pitched roofs. Support for the flat roof system Gen 2 and SL Fast Flat will follow in further expansion stages. (nhp)
