The 4th Annual Solar Conference, organised by the Macedonian Solar Association, will take place on 24 September 2025 in Skopje. As the sector continues to evolve in response to energy security and decarbonisation priorities, the event offers a focused platform for professional exchange and collaboration across the solar value chain.

Responding to new market challenges
The event will bring together domestic and international companies active in solar PV, solar thermal, heating and cooling technologies, and battery storage. In response to shifting market dynamics, Solar Macedonia has strengthened its cooperation with local business associations and international chambers of commerce, including the Macedonian–Dutch Chamber, the Macedonian–Slovenian Business Club and the Czech–Macedonian Chamber of Commerce.

Paving the way for business and energy independence
The conference will explore technical and commercial pathways to greater energy autonomy and international competitiveness. It will also introduce the subsidised “Business Diagnostics” service, developed as part of a Swiss modernisation programme led by Swisscontact. The tool is intended to help Macedonian companies improve productivity, support the green transition and promote decent employment.

Media coverage will be supported through a partnership with PV Europe. Participants will also receive updates on upcoming regional cooperation with Energy Key Expo and Intersolar 2026. Venue
The conference will be held at Hotel Aleksandar Palace in Skopje, situated along the Vardar River near the city park and within minutes of the city centre. The venue features a fully equipped congress centre with modular halls, breakout rooms and translation facilities.
