The project involved installing over 1,000 FIMER PVS-20 inverters and marked an important step in restoring the performance of the systems, which had shown lower availability than expected due to the high failure rate of the existing inverters.

The Stern Energy team completed the intervention within two months, restoring system availability to expected levels. The FIMER PVS-10/33 is a three-phase inverter manufactured in Italy, available in six power sizes – 10 kW, 12.5 kW, 15 kW, 20 kW, 30 kW and 33 kW – and is suitable for large residential systems as well as commercial and industrial applications.
Fimer ramps up relaunch with strategic investments and new initiatives
The PVS-20 model, selected for the upgrade, offers reliability, high performance and flexibility, along with significant DC/AC oversizing capacity, four MPPTs, a maximum input voltage of 1,100 V per string, and single-string monitoring, according to the company. The PVS-10/33 range is fuse-free, further reducing maintenance costs and the need for field visits, according to FIMER. (hcn)
