EV wall box compatible with any backend

Keba from Austria presents a wall box that complies with German calibration law for the consumption-based billing of charging output by the kilowatt hour.

The charged electricity can be read directly off the built-in LED display.

The Kecontact P30 ME has already received the so-called type examination certificate from the VDE. With this certification, wall boxes conforming to measuring and calibration law are now produced in large quantities.

Keba uses the entire wall box as a certified energy metre, so no additional components are required as measuring instruments. As a result, the charged electricity can be read directly off the built-in LED display and can be read by the user comfortably during the day and at night.

The data is stored locally in the certified long-term data memory, which means that all the requirements are met for the wall box to be used with any backend in conformity with calibration regulations. At the end of the charging process, a digitally signed data record is automatically forwarded to the operator's back end for billing purposes. (mfo)
