Energy management system now available with new features

After the launch of the Solar-Log Base at this year's Intersolar, it is now available from dealers and the Solar-Log online shop. The Solar-Log Base offers an impressive comprehensive package for more efficient management and monitoring of PV plants. The Solar-Log Base has a modular, plug-and-play design which is easily mounted on a DIN rail. Advanced functionality includes direct marketing with no additional hardware and integrated bus analysis. Functionality can be expanded remotely, as needed, through customer-specific license packages.

The Solar-Log Base combines proven features with new functionality to ensure effective energy management. The new product line consists of the Solar-Log Base 15, Solar-Log Base 100 and Solar-Log Base 2000 models. The Solar-Log Base 15 is designed for PV plants up to 15 kilowatts. The Solar-Log Base 100 provides the optimal functions for plants up to 100 kilowatts and the Solar-Log Base 2000 is for complex industrial plants up to 2 megawatts.

Easily add more functions

License options provide greater flexibility as part of the modular structure. They ensure that the Solar-Log Base product line meets the requirements of individual plant operators. Various "plant size licenses" allow the monitoring size of the plant to be increased.

Solar-Log Base is installed on-site and can be configured remotely. After the hardware has been successfully installed, the Solar-Log™ automatically detects which licenses are required to perform the desired functions. These licenses are activated free of charge for 30 days after the initial installation.

Within 30 days after the initial installation, the licenses can be purchased from the Solar-Log online shop. The licenses are automatically activated for the corresponding Solar-Log without the need for an additional on-site service call at the PV plant. The Solar-Log Base indicates exactly which licenses are required on the TFT display and/or with the QR code displayed in the web interface. All of the relevant information for additional plant configuration can be accessed and saved on a smartphone using the QR code. This information can also be sent by e-mail. (mfo)
