The flexible mats are lightweight, aerodynamic, durable and impact resistant. They weigh only two kilograms per square metre and are only three millimetres thin. An intelligent charge controller ensures excellent charging efficiency, while an integrated navigation device displays the vehicle's geolocation data in real time.

Trailar's solar modules are installed on the roof of the vehicle and are regularly subjected to all kinds of weather conditions and constant vibration.
