Krannich Solar agrees cooperation with roof integrated PV manufacturer Viridian Solar

Roof integrated solar has always been the aesthetic choice when refurbishing or building a new roof. The panels sit lower to the roofline without visible brackets and mounting, made to look like an intended part of the roof. In 2015, Viridian launched Clearline Fusion. With this in-roof system, the highest quality and aesthetics now come at a price competitive with conventionally mounted on-roof installations. Clearline Fusion has rapidly established itself as the UK's market-leading roof integrated solar PV system. Following the recent agreement, this system has now been integrated into Krannich Solar’s product portfolio.

The advantages of the system include a price that is comparable to an on-roof installation; push-fit connections that create a weather-proof and secure fit; compact spacing that allows more power from the same surface area; a level of resistance to wind loads that is about four times higher than other systems; invisible clamps that produce an uncluttered look. The system also requires no modifications to the roof and can be combined with both slate and tile coverings.

In the words of Jamie Berryman, Sales Director of Viridian Solar: "That a highly respected company such as Krannich Solar has selected our range of roof integrated solar modules is a tremendous endorsement for the product. Their enormous global reach opens an exciting new chapter for Clearline Fusion in line with our goal to offer aesthetically pleasing solar across Europe and beyond." Jan Brunner, Head of Sales of Krannich Solar, adds: “After evaluating various suppliers of in-roof systems, we decided to go with Viridian Solar. Clearline Fusion complements our product range very well as it offers our customers new options and an aesthetic solution. With Viridian we have a partner that has built up an excellent reputation for quality and reliability. We see it as a perfect match for many customers in the countries we are active.” (mfo)
