Development and commercial operations of new solar power plant in Japan

The Shika Town Inotani Chosuichi Solar Power Plant (2,589 kilowatts) and the Hakui City Shimbo Town Solar Power Plant (2,746 kilowatts) in Ishikawa Prefecture, were constructed and have now started commercial operation as part of the project overseen by Prominent Power, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Tokyo Gas. The two power plants are the first cases that Shizen Energy has led business development, and juwi Shizen Energy has conducted construction and started commercial operations under the capital and business alliance agreement signed by Shizen Energy and Tokyo Gas in late February of 2017.

juwi recently also commissioned a solar park in Australia.

In addition, the operation and maintenance of both power plants will be managed by juwi Shizen Energy Operation. Shizen Energy has made it the company’s purpose to “take action for the blue planet.” In doing so, Shizen Energy aims to spread the use of safe and sustainable energy through the global development of renewable energy power plants. Through the development, construction, operations and maintenance of renewable energy power plants that are both high in quality as well as rooted in the community, Shizen Energy will continue to accelerate towards the realisation of a “100% renewably-powered planet.” (mfo)
