CCL expands business in the Netherlands

The Netherlands trading under the brand CCL Solar and managed locally by Matthijs Van De Water. This marks a compelling move from the solar and off-grid technical wholesaler whose brands include some of the world’s best-known Solar and power technology manufacturers. The new Tiel office is the latest in the company’s commitment to global expansion and marks the first central European branch with plans to expand further over the coming months according to the company

European expansion with a positive outlook

Managing Director, Paul Brooks Jnr commented, “We have been planning our expansion into Europe for some time. We’re very excited and eager to bring the best solar and energy storage products to Holland and Central Europe. Our many years of experience in the industry will allow us to do this in a new market, capitalising on the success we have achieved in the UK and USA. The global solar market hit 98.9GW of output last year and the European market grew by 28% in 2017 alone so there is a very positive outlook for our industry.”

Advanced technical support

CCL Solar will be offering Tier 1 brands such as SMA, SolarEdge, Fronius, Trina, LG and many more. CCL have locations in the UK and USA and plan to utilise this experience in the new location. One of CCL’s enviable benefits has always been the technical support we can provide to our customers,  we  want  our customers to utilise our knowledge and feel comfortable that we are much more than just a ‘wholesaler’. As a Group, one  of  our  clear goals is the reduction of carbon emissions, we feel our expansion  of  the  CCL  Solar distribution business allows us to achieve this as well as expanding our battery storage and energy generation products from Firefly Hybrid Power into different markets.

The Dutch PV market is one of the most promising in Europe and is expected to reach over 1 GW of new installations this year. Just recently the government launched a tender for large scale PV noise barriers along highways with bifacial modules. (HCN)
