Solarwatt has appointed 12 new UK installation partners to serve booming demand for its MyReserve battery storage systems for home and business. Fifteen technicians from the 12 firms attended a training day at Fronius UK Solar Energy at their technology centre in Milton Keynes to provide the necessary skills to install Solarwatt’s MyReserve unit to households and SMEs in the UK and Ireland.
Further training at 20 September
The appointments include installers from around the UK with a further training session planned for 20 September, also taking place at Fronius in Milton Keynes. The group were instructed in health and safety, transport, lithium ion battery handling and functionality. Training was also undertaken on installation, product servicing, software updating and fault diagnostics.
Bobbie Wright, Solarwatt`s Sales Manager, said: “As well as providing superior-quality inverters, our partnership with Fronius has raised our profile among installers and enabled us to provide further high-quality technical training. The market response to our MyReserve system has been significant so another training session in planned for September. We expect more installers to join us soon.”
Cooperation of Solarwatt and Fronius started well
In July Solarwatt signed a partnership agreement with Fronius, the global renewable energy solution provider, covering distribution, joint research and development activities, and including partner products in respective portfolios. Solarwatt can now offer powerful Fronius inverters to complement Solarwatt complete packages, the MyReserve MR500 and MR800, and the flexibly scalable MyReserve Matrix storage solutions, which will allow applications up to multi-MW in capacity. In turn, Fronius will build on Solarwatt’s storage expertise.
