Hoppecke’s new home energy storage system: maximum self-consumption

According to Hoppecke the system minimises energy losses from storage and conversion. The lithium-ion energy storage system can be fitted in both new and existing photovoltaic systems. This makes it an interesting investment for households that have had a solar panel system installed for several years and still benefit from government support grants that are due to expire.

The user can choose between six, eight, ten or twelve kilowatt-hours. On top you can extent the system up to 100 kilowatt-hours due to the master and slave concept. The new Hoppecke lithium-ion home storage system will be available from the start of 2018, announced the company at the Intersolar trade fair. (nhp)
