Innovations from Munich: LG Solar and SolarEdge are the winning teams of Intersolar Award in PV this year

LG Solar has got the Intersolar Award in the PV category for its new solar module LG Neon 2 BiFacial presented in the European market in April. The modules uses both sides of the panel to turn sunlight into usable electricity. The yield is between 10 and 30 percent higher than the one faced Neon 2 (300 watts), depending on the mounting situation. For further details read here.

SolarEdge was given the Award for its HD wave inverter technology that might change the inverter business fundamentally. The new inverter has no IGBTs anymore but low voltage mosfets. To get all the details about it, learn more here.
