STI Norland supplies its mono-post fixed structure STI-F3 to a 74 MW project in France

The project is in Aquitania Region. The Spanish manufacturer of solar trackers and fixed structures was selected by Solaire Direct, from Engie´s Group.

Great adaptability to different types of soil conditions

In total, the solar PV plant has 12.743 units of STI-F3 structures at an inclination of 20 degrees. According to the STI Norland engineering team, its STI-F3 structure has a great adaptability to different types of soil conditions. In this case it is the perfect solution for this vegetal terrain, characteristic of the Region of Landas.

Grid connection end of March

The construction of the solar plant is expected to end nearly next year, for connection to the power grid at the end of Q1 of 2017. This project is the tenth for STI Norland in French territory, as between 2010 and 2012 collaborated in the development of different photovoltaic plants in France and Domtom (Martinica and Guadalupe), where the structures had to be adapted to withstand high winds.
