Storage advice: Monitor your lithium storage system

Lithium storage units are available in a variety of different types, depending on the electrolyte and the material used for the cathode or anode. This is only of limited interest here, because the storage systems used for stationary storage usually require little maintenance.

Unlike lead batteries, they use almost use their entire storage capacity. They also respond much more quickly – in terms of controlling them.

A modern lithium battery is a closed system where the technician can at best replace complete battery modules. Other than in lead storage, he will never get access to individual cells. (HS)
