Be part of the renewable energy transition of Mediterranean islands!
Mediterranean islands are largely dependent on imported fossil fuels to cover their energy needs and generate electricity. This imposes a heavy burden on island communities in terms of energy security, high-energy costs and environmental pollution.
Assessing the level of knowledge of islanders and local communities with regard to sustainable development and identifying territorial dynamics that affect renewable energy transition in Mediterranean islands: these are the objectives of the survey launched by PRISMI project (https://prismi.interreg-med.eu).
PRISMI “Promoting RES Integration for Smart Mediterranean Islands”, is an Interreg MED project funded by the European Union that aims at tackling these key challenges by supporting local and regional authorities of Mediterranean islands in planning their transition to an autonomous, cleaner, secure, low-carbon energy system through the development of an integrated transnational approach to assess and exploit the renewable energy sources (RES).
PRISMI project therefore developed an anonymous questionnaire, addressed to Mediterranean islanders to map the potential level of RES integration in their territory and identify the main barriers to the introduction of clean energy.
Herewith we invite you to take part in this survey and to support our EU project by filling in the relevant questionnaire. It should not take more than a few minutes of your time. You can access the survey in four languages (EN, IT, HR and EL) directly through the link below:

Your response to the questionnaire may be assured of complete confidentiality. Only aggregated data will be published.
Thank you in advance for your time and valuable collaboration. For suggestions, questions and other information please contact the PRISMI project coordinator:
